Mama Bears Cake Bar – Custom Order Terms & Conditions

 

Full terms & conditions for Mama Bears Cake Bar are detailed below and by booking with me it will be deemed that the terms & conditions have been read, understood and accepted by all customers.

 

Prices & Payments;

All prices are non-negotiable and are priced according to your specific design requirements. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your order, following your enquiry your quote will be valid for 24 hours. Paying your deposit will secure the price and chosen date. If your deposit is not received within 24 hours your order will NOT be booked.

Final payment for wedding cakes are due one week before your chosen date. Final payment for all other cakes must me made prior to or at the time of collection/delivery. If paying via bank transfer please ensure you allow enough time for payment to clear into my account. Cakes will not be released until final payment has been received in full.

 

Cancellations;

If you need to cancel your order I reserve the right to retain your non-refundable deposit.

 

Design;

I reserve the right to amend the design at any time if there are circumstances beyond my control (such as hot weather) that may compromise the finish of your cake. All of my cakes are made individually and by hand, there may be some variation from the design requested or pictures supplied.

 

Damage;

Cakes and their decorations are very delicate items and I cannot be held responsible for any damage that is caused to the cake or decoration after it has left my possession.

 

Allergies & Special Dietary Requirements;

I do not cater for severe allergies of any kind. I can provide cakes that are made without gluten, dairy or nuts but my kitchen and equipment is not and may have traces of these allergens on them.

 

Non-edible Items;

Many cakes will contain a small amount of non-edible items (such as but not limited to, support dowels in tiered cakes, ribbons, artificial or fresh flowers, florist wires and tapes, cocktail sticks, etc) you will be advised about the placement of these items but it is your responsibility to ensure they are removed before consumption.

 

Delivery & Collection;

Collection is available from my Mama Bears Cake Bar in Saxmundham, if you choose to collect your cake I will not be held liable for any damage to the cake once it has left my premises. Delivery is available at my discretion and will be calculated based on your delivery postcode.

 

Complaints;

If you have any problems with your cake please notify me within 24 hours of collection, any refunds due will only be issued on return of the cake so I can investigate where any problem has occurred.

 

Failure;

If Mama Bears Cake Bar is unable to fulfil your order for any reason the maximum liability will be no more than the total cost of the product or service ordered. I will not be held responsible for any failure due to events outside of my control, including but not limited to (failure to receive materials needed from 3rd parties, illness, extreme weather, impossibility to use relevant transport to deliver)

 

Mama Bears Cake Barr is registered with the local authority and undergoes regular strict inspections in accordance with the law. I currently hold a 5* hygiene rating and operate under strict HACCP guidelines for all food production, handling, storage and distribution.
