At Mama Bears Cake Bar, we're much more than coffee and cake. You know by now that we're constantly thinking up new flavours and styles for you to enjoy - but we're also big on community and thinking of new ways to bring the people of Saxmundham together.
We have worked hard to create an environment that makes everyone feel welcome, and what better way to get to know your neighbours than coming along and socialising at one of our regular Cocktail Nights or grabbing the family to enjoy a delicious Afternoon Tea on a bleak winter weekend. Whatever event you join us for, you'll be greeted by smiles, conversation and hospitality that will leave you feeling like a part of our pack.
Take a look at what's lined up for the upcoming months and you'll no longer be asking yourself every weekend "What's on in Saxmundham?", because you'll already have the hottest ticket in town.
November:
Pottery & Prosseco
Saturday 6th November
4.30pm & 7.00pm slots available
Get ready to create the best personalised Christmas gift for your loved ones (or yourself!) as the girls from Purple Pumpkin Creative Studio bring lots of pottery pieces for you to add your artwork to.
Put your decorative skills to the test while you enjoy a drink of your choice and a delicious Mama Bears cupcake.
Tickets cost £20 and include your drink, cake and contribute £10 to your choice of pottery item.
Cocktail Night
Saturday 27th November
6.30pm
As if our usual offering of prosecco and cake wasn't enough of a treat - let me introduce to you...cocktails & cake!
Book a table for you and your friends and come down to enjoy your pick of the cocktails: martinis or daiquiris, gin or rum, coffee or candyfloss, shaken or stirred - however you like them we're serving them 'til late.
Tickets cost £30 and includes your first three cocktails and some sweet treats! Booking is essential for this event, so make sure you can reserve your seat and get ready to stretch your social muscles!
Afternoon Tea
Available Wednesday to Saturday
Our Afternoon Tea is available throughout November and what better way to shift the winter blues than getting the family together for an afternoon and sitting down to indulge in a selection of tasty sweet treats with a hot drink?
Or you can celebrate a successful shopping trip on the Saxmundham high street by sitting down with a friend and a glass of prosecco to wash down our Classic Afternoon Tea.
However you take your tea, it's certain to be an experience that warms up one of these long winter weekends and if you're booking for December, expect to see some festive twists to your Afternoon Tea.
December:
Christmas Party Nights
3rd, 4th, 10th & 17th December
5.00pm
Grab your work colleagues, friends, family, fellow cake lovers (or just about anyone else) and celebrate with one of our Christmas Party nights. There are three delicious packages to pick from all at £20 per person:
'Cocktails & Cupcakes' - Includes two cocktails and a cupcake.
'Pizza & Prosecco' - Includes two pizzas and a bottle of prosecco per two guests.
'Festive Afternoon Tea' - Mama Bears Classic Afternoon Tea with a Christmas twist and a glass of prosecco.
All packages are for a minimum of four people with private hire available for up to 22 people.
Christmas Wreath Workshop
Wednesday 8th December

With one of these events already so popular it has sold out, we knew we had to give more people the opportunity to get their wreath on!
If you're anything like us, you'll love having the opportunity to come together with a group of like minded people to learn some serious floristry skills. Plus, crafting a stunning decoration to take home with you after a great night out is the cherry on the cake.
Tickets cost £59 and include everything you'll need to create your own beautiful Christmas wreath with the expert help of The Fleur Girl, Jasmin and also gets you a welcome glass of prosecco or soft drink.
Christmas Shopping Evening

At Mama Bears Cake Bar we're champions of our local community here in Saxmundham, and we know that there are so many fantastic businesses here to support in the run up to Christmas.
We want to give the members of the Mama Bear pack the opportunity to see what is on offer all in one place.
There'll be our usual offering of delicious drinks and cakes, but on this particular evening you can enjoy them whilst taking a look at the other businesses we support.
This is not a ticketed event and everyone is welcome.
