​​I'm not only a proud Mama to the Cake Bar, but to two awesome little baby bears. Having found myself unable to return to work after the arrival of my second baby bear, Roux, I was facing the dilemma of what to do next. One baking course later and I had found my calling - cake! ​

​

We all know what happened in the first part of 2020...but who knew that a countrywide lockdown was going to send everyone crazy for cake! So Mama Bear hit the road. With takeaway cake delivery days taking long over eight hours to complete, I knew that I had to create a space for all the cake-loving customers to enjoy once we were back to normal. 

 

And so, on the 21st July 2021, the doors to the Cake Bar in Saxmundham opened and a whole community was created. November 2023 comes around and our second branch in Ipswich opens and marks the next step in the Mama Bear adventure, spreading love, kindness and cake even further across the county.

​While I'm always around, I'm often busy creating lots of custom bakes in the back, that's why I'm so proud to have an incredible front of house team at both Cake Bar locations and they are all spreading the Mama Bear spirit everyday. We all look forward to seeing returning friends and meeting new ones, we just can't wait for you to become part of the bear pack!
